Coppelia 2024 - KVN Dance Company
Following sold-out performances in London, KVN Dance Company returns with their first UK tour of the magical reimagining of the beloved classical ballet, Coppelia.

Fusing classical ballet with contemporary dance and street dance, Coppelia features the full classical Delibes score imaginatively remixed by Rickard Berg and nominated for the Critics’ Circle National Dance Award for Outstanding Creative Contribution.​​
KAO Global Experience 2023 - Chicago
Kevan is the Creative Director for the KAO Global Experience event that is taking place in Chicago this year.
The show has invited over 3500 colour passionate stylists from all over the world to witness the international live hands-on finale of the Global Creative Awards and to celebrate the winners at the huge award party including exclusive presentations from international stylists Rush, Mario Krankl and Angelo Seminara.
Mother Goose / Cambridge Arts Theatre 2023
Kevan returned as part of the creative team to choreograph a new production of Mother Goose for the Cambridge Arts Theatre.

The production earned great reviews and two Pantomime award​ nominations in 2024. Kevan was nominated for the best choreography award and the ensemble won the award for best panto ensemble.
For Tonight - The Musical / 2023
Kevan choreographed the London concert presentation of the new musical For Tonight that took place at the Adelphi Theatre, London - for one night only. Through a riveting score, the atmospheric soundscape blends traditional Welsh choral, indie-pop, folk and Romani inspired melodies and rhythms. Written by Spencer Williams & Shenelle Salcido, directed by Nick Evans, choreography and movement by Kevan Allen and musical direction by Lestyn Griffiths.
The Haunted Mansion / 2023
Kevan worked on the London Film Premiere and media event for the launch of Disney's new film version of The Haunted Mansion. The film is based on the popular theme park ride and Kevan worked with various ghostly knights in armour to spook the mere mortals that were invited to attend.
The event took place in Leicester Square, London.
Shell Smiling Stars - Budapest / 2023
Kevan created a unique dance piece that took place at the Hungarian State Opera House for Shell’s Smiling Stars awards in Budapest. The show featured artists from the National Ballet company of Budapest accompanied by the Hungarian state classical orchestra.
Let's Face The Music & Dance 2023
Kevan choreographed and staged a nostalgic celebration of much-loved songs and duets from the classic musicals of the golden age of Hollywood with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall.
Featuring the ever-popular music of Rodgers & Hammerstein, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Lerner & Loewe, Jule Styne and many more. Featuring West End Guest Vocalists Anna-Jane Casey, Louise Dearman, Bonnie Langford, Julian Ovenden, Ricardo Afonso and the Arts Ed Ensemble.
KVN Dance Company open Class / Workshop
The KVN Dance Company will be hosting a series of open company classes in 2023 due to popular demand. It is an opportunity for dancers to work with Kevan and the company in a studio and to workshop new ideas for forthcoming work. The first workshop sold out in under 48 hours and it is planned to do more in the future.

A workshop presentation of the new musical, For Tonight, was produced in London. Based in the mid - 1800s in North Wales and Liverpool, For Tonight, is an exploration of the power and meaning of home. Dick Whittington / Cambridge Arts Theatre 2022
Kevan returned to The Cambridge Arts Theatre to be part of the creative team to choreograph their new production of Dick Whittington for 2022.
Based on the well known tale of Dick travelling to London to find his fortune, it featured a top-notch line-up of West End stars.
Directed by Michael Gattrell and choreography and movement by Kevan Allen.

The KVN Dance Company's production of Coppelia was filmed in 2021 and it had a private screening for the company members and supporters in London.
The screening of The National Dance Award nominated production included a short behind the scenes documentary film that accompanied the full filmed version of the show that took place at The Cockpit Theatre in 2021.
Aladdin / Cambridge Arts Theatre 2021
Kevan returned to The Cambridge Arts Theatre to be part of the creative team to choreograph their new production of Aladdin for 2021.
Based on the well known tale of Aladdin and the powerful Genie, it featured a top-notch line-up of West End stars.

No Time To Die Film Premier / 2021
Kevan created an opening presentation with a full Military marching band for the world Premiere of the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die .
The event took place at the Royal Albert hall, London and the Military escorted members of the Royal Family and celebrities as they made there way along the red carpet.
KVN Dance Company // Coppelia 2021
The KVN Dance Company presented its inaugural performances of Kevan's reimagined version of the classic ballet Coppelia in London from 2 - 11 September. The production earned 4 and 5 Star reviews with sold out performances.
For Coppelia Kevan expanded and developed the existing story, delving deeper into the background of the characters and immersing the audience into the sometimes-unsettling mind of Dr Coppelius.
Mulan European Film Premier / 2020
Kevan created a bespoke opening for the European Premiere of Disney’s MULAN. It Involved a large cast of performers that consisted of a mixture of Martial Arts specialists, dancers and Shaolin Warriors.
This all brought the essence and excitement of the live action remake of Mulan onto the red carpet at The Odeon Leicester Square, London
Dame Trott's Panto Palaver / 2020
Kevan returned to The Cambridge Arts Theatre to be part of the creative team to choreograph their new production of Dame Trott's Panto Palaver.
Based on many well-loved fairy-tales all jumbled together with a dollop of classic panto humour thrown in, and a top-notch line-up of West End stars.
KAO Salon Global Experience / 2020
In the year of unprecedented challenges, it was decided that the Globalzoom event that was scheduled for Amsterdam in 2020 would be transformed into a new digital format. Kevan has been the Creative Director for the last seven years and he was asked again to create it for the year 2020 as a streaming event and the new retitling of The Kao Salon Global Experience 2020.
Kylie's Secret Night / 2019
Kylie’s Secret Night was filmed in front of a specially invited audience of passionate fans and hosted by Alan Carr for Channel 4.
Kevan was invited as a secret guest on the show to surprise Kylie and reminisce about their early years of working together at the beginning of her music career.
The Best of Rock Musicals / 2019
Kevan choreographed & staged The Best of Rock Musicals that was hosted by Sir Tim Rice and featured Adam Pascal, Judy Kuhn and Kerry Ellis together with a host of Broadway and West End talent, the West End Chorus, the City of London Philharmonic Orchestra and some very special surprise guests.
Mary Poppins Returns Film Premier / 2019
Kevan created a bespoke opening for the magical world where wondrous things can happen at the European Premiere of Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns.
Numerous Mary’s and Lamplighters ‘Tripped a little light fantastic’ at the star studded event along the red carpet at the iconic Royal Albert Hall.

Kevan was the Creative Director for the Globalzoom event for Goldwell – this year taking place in Vienna, Austria after the previous years success in Toronto. Cinderella / 2019
Kevan returned to The Cambridge Arts Theatre to be part of the creative team to choreograph their new production of Cinderella based on the well-loved fairy-tale. There was the usual blend of sing-along tunes, spectacular dance routines and camp costumes, with a dollop of classic panto humour all performed by a top-notch line-up of West End stars.
Shell Smiling Stars - Dubai / 2018
Kevan created a unique evenings entertainment that took place at the Dubai Opera House for Shell’s Smiling Stars awards. Shell has plenty of innovation, collaboration and talent – both creative and technological . The show featured international circus artists and the opera singer Faryl Smith amongst others.
Globalzoom - Toronto / 2018
Kevan was the Creative Director of the Globalzoom event for Goldwell – this year taking place in Toronto, where he created a show for over 3500 colour passionate stylists from all over the world to witness the international live hands-on finale of the Colorzoom Challenge and the global launch of the latest Colorzoom Collection.
Jane & Friends / 2018
Kevan choreographed The Jane & Friends TV series for Channel 5 that featured Jane McDonald singing some of her favourite songs, showcasing her timeless voice, with her very own fabulous live band and dancers.
Jane was joined by some of the biggest stars in music. The show featured all the highlights from her live tours including her famous audience interaction.
NATVA - Los Angeles / 2017
Kevan choreographed and staged the Wella North American Trendvision Awards that took place in Los Angeles. This year, it saw entries from all over the USA and Canada competing to represent their country in the International Trendvision Awards Final, to be held later in the year.

Rachel Tucker / 2017
Kevan choreographed and staged West End & Broadway leading lady Rachel Tucker in her concert at the Shoreditch Town Hall.
The concert included songs from musicals that she has become famous for as well as new material from her latest album.
Trolls / 2017
Kevan worked closely with Universal Pictures to create a dance performance for brand development, based around the DreamWorks animated movie Trolls.
The event was performed at the London Palladium with a full company of dancers & Trolls, before the release of the film.
The House of Romanov / 2017
Kevan will be creating a bespoke piece for The Jazz Dance company’s new production Dynasties: The Sands of Time.
Kevan’s piece will be called The House of Romanov to be based on the Romanov dynasty of Russia in 1918. The show will be touring the UK throughout the summer
Indian Wedding - Dehli / 2017
Kevan created and choreographed a spectacular show in May for the guests of an exclusive wedding in New Delhi, featuring a team of over 86 extraordinary artists from around the world based on ancient mythology and folklore. Working closely with Acrobat Productions in London the show involved utilizing gymnastics, acrobatics and dance.
Titanic / 2017
In the final hour of 14 April 1912 the RMS Titanic, on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York, collided with an iceberg and ‘the unsinkable ship’ slowly sank. Based on actual characters aboard the greatest ship in the world, this stunning musical focuses on their hopes and aspirations, unaware of the fate that awaits them.

Imagine This / 2017
Imagine This follows a group of actors in the Warsaw Ghetto as they stage a play to inspire hope within their community. For the first time in nearly a decade, this musical returns to London for four weeks only at The Union Theatre.

Kevan created and choreographed a team of inquisitive mini Albert Einstein’s who raced around the Winton Beauty of Mathematics garden in a choreographed musical piece for the press day of the annual Chelsea Flower show in 2016. Equipped only with protractors, magnifying glasses and rulers they will be studying the plants looking for the patterns that underpin all growth and life.

BUPA Kinetic Drawings / 2015
Throughout the day, as part of the Bupa Westminster mile, there will be a series of performance art pieces featuring dancers who will employ choreographed stretching techniques, devised by Kevan to create giant kinetic illustrations on large canvases. These will then be displayed within the gallery structure throughout the day and the audience will then be invited to create some collaborative art works of their own.
RSC - The Taming of the Shrew / 2014
Kevan will be the Director of Movement on the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of The Taming of the Shrew. This 2 hour 10 minute rollercoaster has boys playing girls and girls playing boys to tell the story of two people's crazy journey towards becoming the perfect match. Including an introduction to the performance and a chance to hear from the actors afterwards.

Robin Hood / 2013
Kevan is part of the creative team for the Cambridge Arts Theatre's Christmas production of Robin Hood that is being performed for the first time in nearly 50 years! A spectacular cast featuring some familiar faces will bring this much-loved tale to life, with a fabulous sprinkling of magic that will delight and entertain the young and young at heart alike.
Jaguar - Shanghai / 2013
Kevan will be choreographing an exciting piece of theatre for the Shanghai Auto show.
Using a core team of dancers and acrobats to create a spectacular reveal of the new Jaguar F-Type car.
Intercoiffure Fall Atelier - New York / 2013
The Waldorf Astoria Ballroom was the venue for the Intercoiffure Atelier Gala dinner where Kevan was asked to create a special Salute to Broadway presentation featuring segments from many well known shows including Cats, The Phantom of the Opera, Hair and Cabaret.
Globalzoom - Los Angeles / 2013
Kevan was the creative director for the global Colorzoom event that took place at LA Live in Los Angeles. Incorporating a Global competition, an educational show and an evening Gala event including the hands-on finale of the Color Zoom competition and the latest Color Zoom Collection.
Jesus Christ Superstar / 2012
Kevan will be choreographing the new arena production of Jesus Christ Superstar featuring Melanie C & Tim Minchin. Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber, who wrote Superstar with Sir Tim Rice, said: "Tim and I have always wanted to take Superstar back to its roots. We are both delighted that it will finally play an arena tour in the UK in venues where many of the world's great rock acts have gone before”.
Let's Get Gold / 2012
The new ITV 1 series Let’s Get Gold is a sport meets entertainment mini-series of three pre-recorded episodes, stripped across consecutive nights. Sporting teams from across the UK will battle it out in front of a panel of celebrity pundits from the worlds of show business and sport. Over three nights, 15 teams will compete to transform their sport into the most spectacular and entertaining routine, all staged and choreographed by Kevan.
Children In Need / 2012
The BBC Children in Need Appeal Night takes place every year in November. The Appeal show is a whole evening of entertainment on BBC One with celebrities singing, dancing, and doing all sorts of crazy things to help raise money. This year, Kevan has created a “dance off” between the Children in Need Bear and Pudsey the dancing Dog, the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2012.
So You Think You Can Dance / 2012
The hit TV series 'So You Think You Can Dance' have enrolled Kevan to choreograph various routines throughout the UK's second season. Kevan worked with the contestants on their solos on the first season of the show and this time he will be creating a routine for the top ten girls. The show will air live on BBC 1 every Saturday night through April to June.
Burlesque Film Premier / 2011
Kevan was asked to create a spectacular dance routine to be performed in the center of Leicester square, London, for the red carpet film premier of the movie Burlesque. The high-energy performance consisted of showgirls, feathers and a specially commissioned set that was featured in various press and Television promotions for the movie.
NATVA - Los Angeles / 2011
Top hair professionals from the US and Canada will be flocking to the Hollywood Palladium on Sunset Boulevard for the North American Competition of Trend Vision. Kevan will be choreographing and staging this event as the most successful salons interpret Wella's 2011 trends to compete at the finale later in the year.
The Thing About Tom / 2011
Kevan is involved in the development and Workshop of the new musical 'The Thing About Tom', which is based on Henry Fielding's classic novel Tom Jones. It's a sensational new musical set in contemporary England bringing together a love story between a lovable rogue and an Indian beauty, the clash of two cultures, high comedy and a thrilling adventure in the underworld of London.
Anthems / 2011
Kevan will be choreographing the Anthems concert at The Royal Albert Hall. This Gala Concert brings together West End and Broadway singing sensation Kerry Ellis and legendary Queen star Brian May in their first full-length performance. Under the Creative Direction of Brian May, the concert will feature the Anthems Ensemble of hand-picked rock musicians, the City of London Philharmonic, and the West End Chorus and Dancers.
The Rugby World Cup / 2011
Kevan has been asked to create a spectacular dance routine to be performed in the center of Twickenham Rugby Stadium with 250 children. It will be broadcast live by ITV for the handover from New Zealand to England for the Rugby World cup which will take place in 2015.
Hair World - Paris / 2010
Kevan is the artistic director for the P & G stage at the Hair World Congress taking place in Paris. He will be creating an event that will have non stop shows running over three consecutive days as he oversees all the artists, models and dancers from all over the world as they showcase the latest collections.
Over The Rainbow / 2010
Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber together with the BBC will be searching for a leading lady to play the role of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Kevan has been recruited again to help Andrew and the viewing public to select the lucky lady who will play the part in the new West End production. Kevan will be working closely with the contestants on their stage performance and choreography
Daniel Radcliffe / 2010
Kevan has been working closely with Daniel Radcliffe as he prepares himself for his Broadway musical debut. Kevan has been teaching Daniel to dance and absorb choreography so that he is ready when the rehearsals start in 2011 for "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying" on Broadway where he will be playing the part of J.Pierrepont Finch.
Chess In Concert / 2009
Kevan will be staging and choreographing a concert performance of Chess, the musical with words by Tim Rice and music by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, formerly of Abba and co-creators of Mamma Mia! The performance will run for only two nights at The Royal Albert Hall with Josh Grobin playing the Russian and Idina Menzal as Florence.
The Winslow Boy / 2009
The Rose Theatre –Kingston, under the artistic direction of Stephen Unwin, asked Kevan to teach and choreograph a 1920's Turkey Trot & Bunny Hug Charleston for Terence Rattigan's The Winslow Boy. The cast includes Claire Cox, Diane Fletcher, Thomas Howes and Timothy West.
ITVA - Berlin / 2009
Kevan will again be creating, directing and choreographing the International Trendvision awards to be staged this year in Berlin, Germany. It will be the amalgamation of a years work by the semi finalists from 52 countries – to compete for the overall Trendvision winner of 2009 .The show will also be the first unveiling of the Wella Trends for 2010.
America's Got Talent / 2009
The fourth season of the NBC show 'America's Got Talent' have recruited Kevan to work with the top 40 finalists throughout the series and to guide one of the acts to becoming the overall winner. Kevan will choreograph and stage each live episode over ten weeks of television as America votes along with Sharon Osborne, Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff as to who they wish to take the overall title.
Nike - Los Angeles / 2008
Kevan has been asked by Nike to recreate the much loved 'treadmill dance' by the band OK GO in their 'Here it goes again' Video. Nike will close off the streets of Hollywood & Vine and Kevan will flood the streets with over 20 dancers and treadmills as they perform a workout routine as OK GO play live on top of The Montalban Theatre. .
I'd Do Anything / 2008

Debbie Does Dallas / 2007
Kevan was part of the creative team that was brought together to workshop a new version of the musical 'Debbie Does Dallas'. The musical is based on the classic 1970's porn film and was totally reworked and made into an all singing, all dancing and heavily inuendoed show.
Any Dream Will Do / 2007
The search is on for an unknown to play the lead role in the new West End production of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. Kevan will be choreographing and staging the live TV Broadcast every Saturday Night for ten weeks on BBC1 and working with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber with the aspiring Josephs to prepare the eventual winner for their West End debut.
IBM - Mauritius / 2007
IBM will be holding a celebration of their 100% Club on the island of Mauritius and Kevan has been asked to create an opening and closing performance celebrating the history of the island itself. It will be a three day event incorporating dancers, live musicians and singers flown in from all over the world as well as the local talent from the island to create a magical, theatrical performance under the stars.
The Night of 1000 Voices / 2007
The Night of 1000 Voices has delighted capacity audiences at the Royal Albert Hall for many years and Kevan has choreographed and staged this event many times. The show celebrates some of the most requested favourite songs from the musicals to be performed by the huge 1000 Voices Choir, and The City of London Philharmonic Orchestra accompanied by some very special stars in a musical night to remember
Strictly Dance Fever / 2006
Kevan was the featured Choreographer/Dance coach on the first series of 'Strictly Dance Fever'. The show follows on from the hugely successful BBC series 'Strictly Come Dancing'. For the thirteen-week series, eight couples lived together and were taught a new dance style every week by Kevan and then put to the public vote every Saturday night in a live television broadcast.
Pirelli Calendar / 2006
The infamous Pirelli calendar for 2007 will be launched in London during November and Kevan will be directing and choreographing a unique opening segment to highlight the superb photographs that will grace the pages for 2007, as it is unveiled to the press.
Chicken Little / 2005
Kevan was asked by Walt Disney Pictures to help with the movement and choreography for their new computer animated feature film Chicken Little to be released in 2005. Kevan choreographed and danced a wide variety of styles to help the animators make the characters Chicken Little, Ugly Duckling and Runt the Pig dance.
Faking It / 2005
The hugely successful television programme 'Faking it' asked Kevan to participate as one of the judges for its new series that is currently filming. He was one of two judges that had to decide which dancer out of eight was an imposter and a fake. The Girl had never been a dancer before and had only been trained and taught how to be a backing dancer for the series.
So Graham Norton / 2004
Kevan has continued to work with Graham Norton on his highly acclaimed and popular talk show format for network television – 'So Graham Norton' for Channel 4 (UK) and ' The Graham Norton Experience' for Comedy Central (USA).
13 Going On 30 / 2003
Kevan was asked to private coach Andy Serkis with his dance moves for the 20th Century fox feature film 13 going on 30 starring Jennifer Garner. He specifically had to focus on the Michael Jackson 'Thriller ' dance routine that they performed at the end of the film .
Finding Nemo / 2003
Kevan created a Busby Berkley style opening for the launch of Disney/Pixar's ''Finding Nemo''complete with flying fish, illuminated staircases and Bathing Belle's at the BVI Cinema Expo that was held in Amsterdam.
Tom Jones - Black Betty / 2003
Kevan had the pleasure of working with Tom Jones on his latest music video 'Black Betty' and also helped to create Tom's 2003 performance at The Brit Awards at Earls Court, London.
